Confidentiality & Privacy Policy
Each counselor at Carolinas Wellness Collective will provide a professional disclosure statement. What clients discuss in session is confidential and will not be disclosed without client consent and written permission.
State law and professional ethics protect the therapeutic relationship between client and counselor and require counselors to maintain confidentiality except for the following situations:
- Harm, or threat of harm to self or another person, or indication that a child, dependent adult, or elder person has been, or will be abused or neglected, for which we are required by law to report to the appropriate authorities immediately;
- As required by court order.
